"In 2002 I bought a new wing from Larry. I couldn't believe that he could beat the other dealers by as much as he did.(I had shopped around!). The way that he treated me and helped me with accessories was way beyond what I had ever expected. 100,000 miles later I bought a 2008 wing from Larry(Didn't shop around this time, went straight to SLH!) In 2012 I bought a new wing and had Larry put a trike kit on it. I was down in Texas and Larry and Jeff handled everything, even sending emails and pics to me to see their progress! I picked up the trike in April and have nothing to say but KUDOS for Larry, Jeff, and Lance (who did the conversion). They are the FRIENDLIEST busines. "

"A wonderful buying experience. Jeff gave me a ballpark estimate of the tradein difference in an email. I rode up and he looked at the trade in and put together some numbers. Storm Lake Honda was thousands of dollars less than dealers in the Des Moines Area. I went on vacation for a couple of weeks. Discussed the deal with my son, who encouraged me to go for the deal. On returning I rode up added some accessories, very reasonably priced installed. Three days later I was riding the new Goldwing home. I commented to Jeff, "This is the first vehicle I can recall buying, where we did not haggle". Jeff gave a great price and I accepted. A wonderful experience, I would recommend checking with Jeff and his crew before buying.

"I'm finally getting a trike kit put on my 2010 Gold Wing. I bought the Wing at Storm Lake Honda last year. And this spring I'm buying the trike kit from them also. I've also had trades with them on two scooters and a Triumph America. Did I say that I live in Des Moines, IA.? I have worked for two motorcycle shops in Des Moines and have tried to trade with every other shop in town, including Harley. Very little luck, always cold experiences.
Then I found Storm Lake Honda. Rode a Harley Classic in last fall, talked with the salesman, immediately traded it and my 02 Gold Wing for a new 2010 Wing. The trade saved me Lots of money, the salesman gave me 4,000 more for my wing than D.M., and 1,000 more for my Harley. I couldn't understand what the gimmick was. So I asked the salesman if he was going to get in trouble with the boss and just who in the heck was my sales mans name anyway, I had forgot to ask because the deals was tooooooo easy, friendly.
The salesman said his name was Larry and he owned the store! Oops.
Larry and friends even put accessories on your ride in the showroom, you can watch, pay the price of the accessory and mounting is free, not the tike kit though! I love these guys' help, work, sales and kindness, UNBELIEVEABLE...... Thanks!"

"I am Grand Chaplain of the Widows Sons here in Missouri, and it was sure a long dry spell between bikes down here. I am having a ball riding with my Brothers again. I was just going to ride the Goldwing until Spring, then get another new Harley Ultra, but the fact is, if an ancient Goldwing runs this smoothly, and an 1100 can pull around a 340 pound fat boy like me, I am just going to have to get a 1500 or 1800 Goldwing. Never thought I would say that, but then again, I had never ridden a Wing before either.
I tend to keep an eye on Ebay, even when I am currently riding a bike, so I will be watching for Storm Lake Honda. Hope we can do business again. Your store, and story, is most impressive. You definitely have one of the best dealerships in the country, and I can personally attest that I have never been treated better, especially after I have already made the purchase. It is clear why your company has grown to be one of the top in the business."

We walked in the door on Dec 21st 2009 at noon and at 12:35 we were leaving after buying our new 2008, 1800 Goldwing. And yesterday (1/22/10) when i picked up our new bike everyone was very helpful they loaded the bike into an enclosed trailer that a friend loaned me. The parking lot was pure ice and they put the bike in the trailer with out slipping a wheel on the ice. Larry made it look so easy then they showed me how to tie it down the right way. If you know of anyone wanting a new or used bike be sure to tell them about Storm Lake Honda they are the best. And easy to deal with. "I can't say enough about Larry and his staff. I have been a Harley rider forever and it was hard for me to give up my Harley but I am so glad I did. We bought an 1800 Goldwnig and the experience was Great. We walked in the door not knowing anybody and this guy ( Larry ) asked if he could help us and we told him we knew nothing about Honda. He took at least an hour and half explaining to us about the Goldwing and not once did he pressure us into buying one. We went back three times and the last time we bought our first Goldwing and an ATV for our son. We saved a lot of money and were well pleased with the service and the way they treated us. It was great, they called us by name as tho we were old customers. My hats off to Larry and his staff and we WON'T go back to Harley anytime soon. "I heard about Storm Lake Honda from a friend after checking all other Honda dealers in and around the central part of Iowa. I was looking for a new GL1800 to purchase and Storm Lake Honda had the best inventory and by far the best price hands down. I saw Larry Schultz and his sales staff and they ran numbers w/bike (pkg two) and accessories I knew within 30 minutes I found my new Honda dealer to buy my Goldwing. He saved me 1000's of dollars and regain trust in a dealership that I losted long ago. I drove 160 miles out of my way but it was well worth it. "My wife and I bought two 2009 Honda Shadow Aero 750. They are an awesome bikes and have alot of power. We had two Cobra Classic Slash Cut exhausts installed on both bikes. It makes it look even more awesome and alittle louder with the mean sounds. We've checked out other motorcycle dealers and none of them came even close to Storm Lake Honda prices. You guys have the best prices we've ever seen. We are very happy with your prices, services and very friendly staffs. "I just started with biking a couple years ago, I went into the store with no idea what to get or how to get started. Jeff was very helpful, He listen to all my dumb questions and treated me like He had been dealing with me for years. He recomended a 750 shadow and it was a great bike, just after that I decided to trade up to a 1300 vtx R another great bike and after only a year I shot for the moon and hit the bullseye. I just got a Goldwing and a Dart Time out trailer, once again Jeff was outstanding in helping me with all of my questions and finacing and delivery of the bike and trailer to my house. Just one thing different about my testimony from all the rest, Jeff helped me acomplish this while I am half way around the world. I am in the U.S. Air Force and I am currently deployed in Southwest Asia. Jeff dealt with me as if I was standing in the store. I have allready bought three bikes at Storm Lake honda and I will allways buy from there."

"Since age 13, I have purchased many motorcycles from S.L. Honda. An XR 75, brand new 1985 and a 1986 Honda Spree's, a 2001 750 Shadow Spirit, and most recently a 2007 VTX 1300 C. The purchases were all effortless. Larry and Jeff drew up the paperwork and when I was back from my test rides. My credit was checked while I was deciding which bike I was going to take. A signature here and a signature there. I was out the door in a few short minutes.
I'll be back in a few years for my next purchase.
Oh yeah, the parts guys are really helpful also. As I would describe what I needed, they could damn near finish my sentences.

"everything with my experience was excellent spot on however when i was at the dealership all the other bikes had the storm lake honda sticker on the front fender of the dirtbike and i asked for one and no one could locate them and you took down my address and said you would mail me one. could you please mail me one of those decals i want to show everyone where i got the bike from cause you guys are awesome.

"Thanks to Larry and Jeff,my wife and I have both been able to reach our cycling dreams. Larry started me out on on older but very nice affordable Shadow 1100 A.C.E. I was hooked on riding all over again. My wife decided she wanted to start riding one of her own(then it was Jeff's turn)Jeff showed her the bike she never knew she always wanted,by the way, Larry updated and upsized me to an 02 VTX 1800C-WOW what a bike! We have both been very pleased with the way Larry and his whole team treat us as if we had known them for years. "i purchased a honda interceptor back in may of 2007. and financing was easy,and talking with jeff,and larry was easier with what i wanted to buy. what i wanted is what i got and even more. 2 months later in july i brought my bike over for an oil change. and i found out that i needed a new tire,and new chain on my interceptor. well alls i can say is that jeff made it right with me. and the service guys go above and beyond in helping you out with whatever needs done. came back in october of this year and purchased a 2007 interceptor,and larry made me feel right at home. and now all i hear from on lookers about my new bike. what kind of bike is that? and where did you get that bike? and i tell them. storm lake honda!! easy to work with,easy to get the bike of your dreams!!! larry and jeff and their crew has made everything easy to get. without storm lake honda i would still be dreaming about a new honda!!! storm lake honda will make it happen,and make it easy!! thanks larry,and jeff!!! i love my new honda interceptor!!!"

"I have tried to buy other brands of dirt bikes in the past, but no one would listen and deal with me the way Jeff and Storm Lake Honda has. My first purchase was a Honda pedal bike for my 3 year old last year and have since bought an 07 CRF 50 and 2 '07 CRF 250R's from Jeff. "Wow, Wow, Wow What great experience. Larry, Jeff and Dave were so helpful. My new Rincon is the talk of the town. I was debating between SLH and a local dealer. I had found SLH thanks to Jeffs wonderful website. I e-mailed Jeff about the bike and the next weekend Larry was bringing it down for me to try out for a week. After riding (and abusing) the quad for a hard week of chasing deer in snow and mud, I decided to purchase this wonderful machine. Larry contacted me and said we could do this transaction over the phone and internet. Instead I felt I wanted to see this great store so I took the long trek to Storm Lake (almost 6 hours). Once my Wife Alice and I arrived I felt at home. We met Jeff and his new bride, Larry and his beautiful wife Peggy Jean, and Dave Miller in parts took me bird hunting (we bagged out after only two hours). Since then I have seen Larry and Peg at Iowa football games and various music festivals. They are both big Clarence Carter fans. From that late day in December of 2001 I have bought two more bikes from this wonderful family business with great employees, and I can't wait till the next time I get to spend time with any of these great people.

"In May 2006 I bought a Rubicon 4 wheeler from SLH to use on my farm. I just love the machine, especially now during the muddy calving season. Larry shot me the best deal the first time around. I saved close to $1000 over my local dealer in Sioux Falls. The deal was made over the phone and he even stayed open a little late so I could pick it up that same day.
