 | Opportunity knocked on our rural Iowa town, and Storm Lake Honda/Arctic Cat opened the door. Now, 30 years later, our small town dealership has grown to be in the top 10% nationally with Arctic Cat, top 50 in the nation and one of the highest volume dealers for Honda in the midwest. It could be our 15000 square foot building located in the heart of our, population of 10,000, town. It could be our large selection of parts and accessories. We think that it is our year around enthusiasm and customer involvement that keeps our doors swinging.
We just don’t “drive a good deal,” we actually do a good deal of driving with our customers to exciting and beautiful places. From our frosty snowmobile trips to West Yellowstone, Black Hills and Wisconsin, to our sun filled motorcycle trips to Texas, Arizona and South Carolina, or our adrenalin filled professional Arenacross and Supercross team. For our home-bodied customers, we provide very active motorcycle (Western Iowa Cycle Riders) and snowmobile (Blizzard Busters) clubs. Activities range from supper rides every other Wednesday to poker runs throughout the year. We also owned and operated a very challenging motocross track for our growing motocross support program along with an annual golf tournament at a local golf course. How’s that for customer dedication? Did I mention that we only have a staff of 12?
We are glad this opportunity knocked on our door 31 years ago. And we now love knocking people out with our deep commitment and superior service. That, we think, is what being #1 is all about!
